If you’ve been thinking about using interlocking
concrete pavers in your landscape plan, here are some
of the most frequently asked questions from our customers.
How much do they cost?
Installed prices for paving stones will vary depending on the
size and complexity of the installation, and on the contractor
you select for your project. Please Contact Fendt for the names of recommended Contractors who could give you current installed prices. Normally, if you do-it-yourself, the cost can usually be
cut in half.
How long will pavers last?
Literally, a lifetime. Pavers installed
in Europe after World War II are still in use in sidewalks
and roads.
How do I rate an installer?
Get references. Go and look at work they’ve
done. Whenever possible, talk to other homeowners who
have used them. Talk to the paver distributor and get
their input. For a list of Contractors, call Fendt Builder’s Supply at 248-474-3211, or 734-663-4277.
Will snow plows damage the paver?
No. The pavers remain solidly in place during
snow plowing or snow blowing operations.
Are pavers safe for use around a pool?
Concrete pavers are ideal for pool decks.
When wet, they’re not as slippery as clay pavers or other
deck surfaces. And because they’re easily removed, they
provide quick, low cost access to subsurface utilities
and plumbing. Once repairs are completed, the pavers are
easily put back in their original position.
